Hello! I’m Heather, an animator with a passion for making my films look beautiful. With a formal education in animation and photography as well as an independent education in textiles, my approach merges visual design, cinematography, and illustration to create short films inspired by nature.

What I Offer

With a passion for visual design and cinematography, I work mostly in 2D animation and illustration.

  • I have a lot of experience of animating in Adobe Photoshop, intermediate experience of TvPaint, and intermediate experience of animating on paper. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums including embroidery, paint, and inks. I am keen to experiment further with more obscure mediums as well as furthering my skills in digital animation.

  • I work with graphite, watercolour, acrylic, and illustrative embroidery (drawing using a sewing machine or hand embroidery). I also have experience in Adobe Illustrator for more contemporary work.
